04 — Common questions

You're probably wondering...

Most new businesses don't have all three, and that's fine. Logo and brand colors come with every package — a clean wordmark and a small palette tailored to your business. Copy is on us, too — you tell us what you do and who your customers are, we write the site. Photos are the only piece you'll either supply yourself or pay extra for us to source and curate. If you want a full custom logo (vs. a wordmark), we can refer you to a local designer.
You won't get a take-it-or-leave-it draft. We share work as we go, you tell us what to adjust, and we keep iterating until you're happy. Revisions during the build are part of the package — no clock running. Most projects wrap inside a week; the longest we'd expect is about a month. Once the site is published and approved, future changes are billed at $90/hour with a 30-minute minimum.
Hosting with us is $300/year — server space, SSL certificate, security patches, and outage response if anything breaks. The code is yours from day one, and the domain is in your name. If you ever decide to self-host instead, we hand over a clean copy of the codebase — at that point you (or any developer you hire) handle your own updates from there. As long as we're hosting you, future changes are billed at $90/hour with a 30-minute minimum, quoted upfront. No contracts, no monthly retainer, no surprise invoices.
Most websites go live in about a week from the kickoff call. Bigger builds — like full e-commerce — usually take two to three weeks. We give you a firm timeline before any work starts, and we limit how many projects we take per month so deadlines hold.
Two reasons. We're based in Indiana, not San Francisco, so our overhead is lower. And we don't run a sales team or a fancy office — most agencies pass those costs to you. We're a small team that builds the site you hired us for. That's it.
